Sands China Ltd. and Bank of China Macau Branch announced that they have joined hands to issue the first co-branded UnionPay credit card targeting Macau residents.
Through the collaboration, “the two parties will leverage their respective strengths to provide the public with better and more convenient leisure, entertainment and payment experiences,” the gaming operator said in a statement.
The BOC Sands Lifestyle co-branded UnionPay credit card is expected to be officially launched in October, with a focus on supporting the recovery of the tourism industry.
It offers an array of leisure and entertainment privileges and benefits.
According to Sands China, through UnionPay’s extensive payment network, Bank of China Macau Branch will offer cardholders payment convenience and various benefits and privileges and develop new digital payment products to better meet residents’ local and cross-border financial needs.
