Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau announced a special celebration for the Day of Portugal which will take place next month at contemporary Portuguese restaurant Mesa on June 12. This event is part of the “June – Month of Portugal in Macau SAR” celebrations and is organised by the Consulate General of Portugal in Macau and Hong Kong, AICEP Portugal Group, Casa de Portugal Macau, Fundação Oriente and Instituto Português do Oriente (IPOR).
On the day of the event, Mesa at THE KARL LAGERFELD hotel tower, will offer guests a Portuguese experience from the live band, regional gastronomy, to beverages such as ginjinha in a chocolate cup.
Rearranged to showcase the delicious varieties of regional cuisines prepared by the culinary team, dishes include Rojões à Minhota – pork collar confit in pork fat with cumin, and Carapaus Alimados – mackerel cured with lemon and olive oil, among many more delicacies.
