The Macau office of the Quinta da Marmeleira vineyard in Portugal has premiered the brand at the China International Import Expo (CIIE), which is held in Shanghai. The last day of this year’s expo will be held today, the office said in a statement.
The company showcased a variety of wines from three different collections, which highlighted the verde (green) body and South European texture. According to the company, the wines were liked by many spectators at the event.
The vineyard was set up in response to the call of Beijing’s Belt-and-Road Initiative. Wines produced at the vineyard have been sold in the markets of Macau and mainland China for a number of years.
This edition of the CIIE celebrates the participation of 145 countries and regions as well as 284 World 500 enterprises.
