Taiwanese airlines Starlux Airlines will start flying to Los Angeles in June. This route will also feature a first class cabin. At least initially, there will be five flights per week. The Airbus A350 aircraft serving this route will have four first-class seats, 26 business, 36 premium economy and 240 economy. Outbound flights will depart Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport at 11:40pm and arrive at Los Angeles at 8:30pm. Meanwhile, the inbound flight will depart Los Angeles at 12:50 am and arrives in Taiwan at 5:40 am on the following day. Delicacies such as prime steak, Taiwanese yakiniku donburi and boba tea will be served on select services. Starlux executives have previously highlighted the competitiveness of this flight as it seamlessly delivers passengers from Macau to North America through Taipei. Local travel agency New Sintra Tours Ltd. has started selling round-trip tickets for the Macau-Taipei-Los Angeles route from the price of MOP4,000.
