Melco Resorts & Entertainment is slated to host the “International Festival of Extreme Sports (FISE): Battle of the Champions (BOTC) 2025” in the city in March 2025.
To support the sport’s development in Macau, Melco has announced it will soon open a skateboard park at Studio City to provide enthusiasts with a well-equipped skateboarding venue.
Hosted in collaboration with Rakuten Sports and event organizer Hurricane Group, the Festival is the first event of its kind to occur in Macau and the Greater Bay Area.
The FISE World Series is the world’s largest comprehensive extreme sports event that comprises 9 extreme sports including rock climbing, skateboarding, BMX Freestyle park and breaking.
Clarence Chung, Melco Board director, said, “The festival will combine sports and youth culture in a vibrant festival atmosphere to appeal to both locals and visitors, while demonstrating Melco’s steadfast commitment to bringing world class events and performances to Macau.”
