Sammi Cheng, one of the most prominent female singers in Hong Kong, made a return to The Venetian Macao Friday and Saturday night, taking to the Cotai Arena stage again after three years for a two-night run of her show Touch Mi Sammi Cheng World Tour Live in Macau.
Dubbed the “Cantopop Queen,” according to a press release from the organizers, “Cheng is known for her incredibly entertaining performances, which makes it easy to see why this two-night run sold out very quickly”. She kicked her Friday night concert off with “Bang Bang Bang,” which is one of her signature tunes. This was followed by “Love is…” and “Do Re Mi.” The show’s stage design and lighting effects “complemented Cheng’s dynamic stage presence and created a thoroughly fantastic and memorable show for all of her fans in attendance”, the organizers said.
