Star chefs on the menu at studio city
A constellation of celebrity ‘star chefs’ yesterday served up a taste of the culinary experiences to be enjoyed at Studio City as they unveiled details of their signature restaurants.
Studio City’s roster of chefs, including multi Michelin-starred Chef Alain Ducasse; Chef Pâtissier Pierre Hermé; Hawaii Regional Cuisine specialist Chef Alan Wong; ‘Global Chef Award’ winner Hidemasa Yamamoto; and World Champion of Chinese Cooking Gold Medalist Chef Tam Kwok Fung, will be joined by French Michelin-starred Chef Guillaume Galliot, executive chef of The Tasting Room at City of Dreams Macau, in preparing the Studio City Grand Opening Gala Dinner to be held on October 27.
At a special media reception on the eve of Studio City’s opening, Chef Pâtissier Pierre Hermé, often described as the ‘Picasso of Pastry’, introduced the first Pierre Hermé Paris boutique in Macau.
Offering a true Parisian experience, the macaron collections of Pierre Hermé Paris will be available at The Boulevard at Studio City. Flavor combinations such as “Ispahan” and “Mogador” as well as seasonal creations will be offered.
“I am delighted at the opportunity to bring the Pierre Hermé Paris experience to Macau,” explained Chef Hermé. “Studio City and the Studio City Boulevard is the perfect place in Macau to discover my universe of tastes, sensations and pleasures.”
