Hosted by the Civil Aviation Authority (AACM), the “7th Meeting of the ICAO Asia-Pacific Flight Procedure Program Steering Committee (7th FPP SCM)” began yesterday and runs through until tomorrow. Delegates from 7 states and administrations as well as the International Civil Aviation Organization are discussing flight procedure design issues, as well as reviewing the work implementation and deliberating thoughts on future plans.
The ICAO Asia-Pacific Flight Procedure Program was developed in 2010 with the objective of gathering states and administrations to discuss how mutual assistance can be offered on performing quality control on flight procedures and providing training to increase personnel’s professionalism. At present, the program has a membership of 10 active participating countries and administrations as well as 7 user states. The MSAR has been a member since its inception.
