Two Sands China Ltd employees have been recognized for their excellence in the hospitality industry at the 2015 Hotelier Awards China ceremony, which was held in Beijing on December 15. Donna Campbell, director of public relations at Sands China, and Lily Chi, executive housekeeper at the Venetian Macao, were both presented with awards.
“Award ceremonies such as the Hotelier Awards China are very important to both our company and our industry,” said Bede Barry of the Venetian Macao and Sands Cotai Central.
“They recognize the hard work and dedication that goes into ensuring that high standards are maintained and guests have the best possible experience when they are with us,” he added.
At this year’s ceremony, a total of 300 applicants were nominated for just 18 awards.Five of those awards were awarded to hotelier professionals based in Macau. Donna Campbell

Cotai Water Jet is introducing a number of special promotions to welcome in the New Year,which will be available to customers starting from 1 January2016.
Throughout January, customers who spend MOP500 or more on full-fare City Route Cotai First tickets will receive a “Fortune Bag,” which will contain one of almost a dozen prizes that feature discounts and coupons for attractions in Macau and Hong Kong.
The company is also introducing a flexible boarding service from next year. This will permit full-fare ticket holders who arrive after boarding has completed to take the next available ferry at no extra charge.
In addition, fans of Cotai Water Jet’s Facebook page can download an e-coupon from the “special offers” section of the page, and this will grant a discount for tickets with the company.
