mia joins china civil airports association
Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) was voted to be eligible to join the China Civil Airports Association (CCAA) during the organizations’ third meeting.
Macau International Airport (MIA) is the first organization from the Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan regions to join the Association, which aims to further the development of regional aviation.
Mr Xia Xinghua, Director of MIA, said that the meeting was held with the support and encouragement of all member airports, whose representatives shared ideas on the work of the Association. The members hope to coordinate with other airports and integrate resources to build a platform for the development of China’s civil aviation.
CCAA was established in August 2006. Its member organizations include civil airports in China, as well as national, industry-based and non-profit community organizations formed by various legal and judicial entities.
