The Hotel Okura Macau’s Japanese restaurant, “Yamazato,” has announced a new wintertime hotpot experience, offering a dynamic combination of traditional and contemporary Japanese dishes.
“Shabu Shabu” is a hotpot that combines the traditional Chinese dining style with a distinctive Japanese flavor.
Guests can select their offerings from a platter heaped with paper-thin slices of Wagyu beef, fragrant shiitake mushrooms, fresh vegetables, tofu and noodles. The ingredients are accompanied by either a savory sesame or bright citrusy sauce.
The “Shabu Shabu” hotpot experience is available for MOP1,980 and will be suitable for two to three people. The restaurant is open from 12 to 3 p.m., and again from 5:30 to 10 p.m., except on Mondays.
