World-renowned theatrical sensation STOMP, an eight-person performance group, will hit the stage at The Venetian Theatre from September 23 to October 9.
Originally from the UK and created by Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas in 1991, STOMP combines percussion, dance, theatre and comedy with a soundtrack inspired by the commotion of daily life.
Performers use everyday objects such as lighters, bin lids, plastic bags and even kitchen sinks to hammer out an explosive rhythm.
STOMP has been touring the globe for 25 years, bringing over 20,000 performances to more than 12 million people in 53 countries across six continents, according to Sands China’s press release.
The group has performed in large-scale events such as the 1996 Academy Awards (the Oscars), which received an estimated audience of one billion globally, and a specially choreographed appearance at the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympic Games.

Held at FAOM’s Taipa office, the seminar introduced participants to CEM’s various services, including “e-Service” and “Mobile App,” and explained the power supply application procedures and payment methods.
The company also gave presentations on topics such as the “responsibilities and periodic maintenance of public electrical installations,” “energy safety at home” and “energy saving tips at home,” teaching residents how to save energy while using appliances safely.
