CEM holds energy conservation seminar
Companhia de Electricidade de Macau (CEM) held a seminar on energy conservation in the conference room of the Macao Science Centre last week, attracting around 60 representatives from related industries.
The seminar, titled “Experience Sharing Seminar on Energy Saving,” hosted keynote speakers from Hong Kong and Macau hotels as well as from environmental protection sectors. There were also representatives from various companies in the regions that have been successful in reducing energy consumption.
According to a statement from CEM, the company hopes that the seminar can become established as a platform from which industry insiders can regularly exchange information and share their experiences regarding the various means of conserving energy.
After the keynote speakers shared their thoughts, a ‘question and answer’ session was held with the attendees who, according to the CEM statement, raised questions with great enthusiasm.
