Live Nation has announced that the “2017 BTS Live Trilogy Episode III The Wings Tour In Macau” will take place on November 4 at The Venetian Macao’s Cotai Arena.
Recently named “The 25 Most Influential People on the Internet” and awarded the “Billboard Music Awards Top Social Artist”, BTS is a seven-member South Korean boy band under Big Hit Entertainment, formed by Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Rap Monster, Jimin, V and Jung Kook.”
BTS’ album “Wings” was one of 2016’s top-selling albums in South Korea.
The album also reached No. 1 on 97 iTunes charts around the world and was No. 26 on the prestigious Billboard 200 albums chart, a record for a Korean artist.
Meanwhile their follow-up, “You Will Never Walk Alone” topped the Gaon Chart Album Sales and Digital Rankings for the first half of 2017 with a total of 729,295 album sales.
Tickets go on sale today at Cotai Ticketing, HK Ticketing and the Macau Kong Seng Ticketing Network.
MGM holds seminar on belt & road initiative
With the support of the Liaison Office, MGM has been hosting the “Seminar on the Belt & Road Initiative and Greater Bay Area Plan” at its Grand Ballroom yesterday and today.
The two-day event’s keynote speaker is Prof. Zhang Jianping, director general of the Center for Regional Economic Cooperation, Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation (CAITEC) under the Ministry of Commerce of China.
According to a statement issued by the gaming operator, more than 300 team members from MGM’s management are attending the event.
The seminar also offers the audience updates on the development of the Greater Bay Area.
The event kicked off yesterday with an opening speech by CEO and executive director of MGM China, Grant Bowie, who said: “This seminar enables our management staff to understand more details of the events and activities that will affect our future, so that we can play a role in achieving the best outcomes for Macau and the Greater China region.”
