Sands China Ltd. is a supporting partner of leading tech event, BEYOND Expo 2024, being held at Cotai Expo at The Venetian Macao from May 22 to May 25.

The expo is focusing on international technology advancements and fostering a culture of tech and innovation in Asia.

Themed “Embracing the Uncertainties” this global tech-community gathering has innovation, entrepreneurship, and international collaboration at its core.

This is being showcased in numerous ways including summits, forums and fireside chats with inspirational personalities.

According to a statement from the gaming operator, a defining moment for many in attendance yesterday was the conversation between Sands global ambassador and international celebrity, David Beckham and Grant Chum, chief executive officer and executive director of Sands China Ltd.

“Beckham delved into combining personal passion with business acumen, highlighting the importance of authenticity and social impact in today’s entrepreneurial landscape,” the company said in a statement.

Beckham followed this with a tour of the expo before attending the Gala Dinner at The Venetian Ballroom, where Wilfred Wong, executive vice vhairman of Sands China Ltd., spoke to the distinguished guests about Sands China’s commitment to supporting the development of Macau’s high-tech industry and the government’s “1+4” appropriate diversification development strategy.
