8114655bb4ddc60fe3Broadway Macau is bringing street dance onto The Broadway. Hosted by União Geral das Associações dos Moradores de Macau and the Associação de Juventude Voluntária de Serviço Social de Pak Wai de Macau, coordinated by the Centro de Actividades Pak Wai, and joined by the Macau International Street Dance Association (MISDA), Broadway Macau is the venue sponsor of this 30-team-strong dance competition.
A hundred of street dancers came to The Broadway to show off their best moves. After a day of music and dance, champions were awarded in the following categories: the 1 on 1 Tricks & Power award went to BBOY A tab; 1 on 1 Footwork battle winner was BBOY off; the Showcase championship went to team “Ngo Di Yan”. The title of 2 on 2 battle champion went to Mental Fusion, who will also represent Macau at the Street Dance Competition in Thailand.
“The Macau Street Dance Competition is an amazing opportunity for emerging and established dance artists to show their moves to the world through up-close-and-personal performances. Broadway Macau was honored to sponsor and host this year’s competition with everyone in Galaxy Entertainment Group looking forward to more collaborations with performing artists in both the live music and dance scene,” said Kevin Clayton, Chief Marketing Officer at Galaxy Entertainment Group.

Fado launches Portuguese inspired Pavlova Collection

02Fado restaurant at Hotel Royal Macau is presenting a sweet collection of Portuguese inspired pavlovas. Light, fluffy and made from egg white, pavlovas have inspired Fado’s Executive Chef Luís Américo to reinvent the recipe by topping this meringue cake with 4 traditional Portuguese flavors: Egg Cream, Crème Brulee, Serradura and Port Wine Chocolate.
Those who have a love of rich egg-yolk desserts will enjoy the Pavlova with Classic Egg Cream and Roasted Almonds, which is a mix-and-match of egg custard and crunchy meringue; the Pavlova with “Creme brulee” and Cinnamon blends pudding and egg white together; the Pavlova with Lemon Curd and “Serradura” is a fresh and playful creation; while last but not least, the Pavlova with Port Wine Chocolate Mousse and Fresh Strawberries rounds off the selection.
The Portuguese Inspired Pavlova Collection is available from September 1st onwards.
