The-Continetal-menu-LOW-01A month-long restaurant promotion entitled ‘The Best from the English Countryside –
Healthy Beef and Lamb’, launched yesterday in restaurants throughout Hong Kong and Macau.
The event is organized by AHDB Beef & Lamb, part of the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board in England.
Seven restaurants from the two SARs have joined this promotion, which will run from now until 16 December. Among the seven, two have just recently opened their doors to the public: La Villa, TST East, Kowloon; Locofama, Sai Ying Pun, Western District; Marbling by Mr. Steak, Causeway Bay (new); Shore, Central;  Spotlight, Studio City Hotel, City of Dreams, Macau (new); The Continental, Pacific Place; and Watermark, Central Pier 7, Star Ferry.
During the promotion the public can win prizes. All they need to do is to order one of the English lamb or beef promotional dishes, take photos and create names for the dishes (better than the ones on the menu), uploading the photos with the names to the English Beef Facebook page www.facebook.com/englishbeef and invite their friends to like their post. Seven people with the most likes will receive restaurant vouchers worth up to HKD2,000 in value.

Gamal_Azizgamal aziz joins ecole hôtelière de lausanne’s international advisory board

Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) hotel school has appointed Gamal Aziz, President and Executive Director of Wynn Macau Limited, to its International Advisory Board (IAB).
The IAB is composed of international hotel, education and hospitality leaders, who provide EHL with industry insights and market trends to support the development of its academic programs.
“It is a great honor to have someone of Mr. Aziz’s caliber join EHL’s International Advisory Board,” said Dr. Fabien Fresnel, Dean of EHL. “Our two institutions share a common standard for excellence and quality,” he added. “As EHL looks to expand academic programs and opportunities for students in Asia and the international gaming industry, it is invaluable to have the perspective and experience of Mr. Aziz as an advisor. He has served in executive leadership positions in the world’s two largest gaming markets – Las Vegas and Macau – and his depth of expertise in luxury hospitality adds another layer of talent and insight to our International Advisory Board.”
