Thirty leaders-in-training enrolled in Grand Hyatt Macau’s Management Development Program (MDP) completed a three-day, two-night field trip to Guangzhou and Shenzhen in July. The annual field trip is a key component of the yearlong program, which is developed by Grand Hyatt Macau to nurture associates with leadership potential.
Two groups of MDP participants from both the Chinese- and English-language courses visited sister hotels, Grand Hyatt Shenzhen, Hyatt Place Shenzhen and Grand Hyatt Guangzhou, to learn more about each hotel’s operations, and gain insights into different regional characteristics and service culture.
The Black Sheep bar-restaurant opens
Craft beer house The Black Sheep officially opened its doors on July 31, a brand new spot for citizens to chill out and for beer lovers to indulge in flavorful brews from around the world. Friday’s opening night saw the bar-restaurant being transformed into a dance floor with rising EDM star DJ Reygus.
“We hope that citizens in Macau can not only relax here, but also learn more about beer, especially artisanal craft beer,” said Mr. Danniel Lei, representative of The Black Sheep. “Traditional artisan brewing has existed for centuries, so craft beer is actually something traditional rather than new.”
Located at Rua da Perola Oriental Areia Preta Macau, The Black Sheep is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m.
