In support of the upcoming arts and culture event ‘Art Macao’, Wynn hosted a seminar on the “Art of Curation” on April 17, as part of its Art Promotion Event Series for teachers, students, youth and art enthusiasts across art, design, exhibitions and other related fields.

Emerson Wang and Chip Tom, two experienced international art curators were invited as guest speakers at the seminar, where they shared their respective views on art with teachers and students to further enhance their knowledge and understanding of art and exhibitions.

Wang gave an overview of the art curation industry, covering topics around art administration, the role of being an art curator, and the management and execution of curatorial projects. Meanwhile, Tom shared insights into how he assisted Wynn in creative planning and organizing art exhibitions, the characteristics of different art pieces, and the trend of contemporary art exhibitions.

The seminar attracted more than a hundred teachers and students from various local colleges, art enthusiasts, and Wynn employees, according to the casino operator.

40 Sands China employees visit national security exhibition

Nearly 40 Sands China employees, including senior management from various departments, visited the second National Security Education Exhibition at the Handover Gifts Museum of Macau yesterday. While there, they went on a guided tour in order to gain a deeper understanding of the exhibition.

Yesterday’s activity was held in support of the Macau SAR government’s efforts to promote public awareness and education regarding national security in the community and is one of Sands China’s initiatives to support national education.

The visit also helped employees to reinforce their understanding of “one country, two systems,” the central government’s Constitution, and Macau’s Basic Law.

“With Macau continuing to play a key role in the region’s rapid development, I encourage [employees] and the wider Macau community to take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about the role we can play in contributing to the security of the nation,” said Sands China President Wilfred Wong, according to a statement from the gaming operator.
