Taxpayers can now settle their tax obligations online through the “Macau Tax” app, “One Account,” and the “Business Portal,” as the Financial Services Bureau expands its digital services.
A total of 17 types of tax certificates are now available for electronic application.
The upgraded system supports multiple payment methods and allows users to download electronic receipts for up to two years, enabling easier record-keeping and review of tax information.
The bureau said the platform also enhances interdepartmental collaboration by linking its data with other government departments, reducing the need for residents to repeatedly submit the same information.
Available certificates include those related to occupation tax, business tax, housing tax, income supplement tax, and debt certificates. Applicants may choose between electronic or paper versions depending on their needs.
The bureau has also expanded online services across its platforms, covering tax inquiries, declarations, payments, certificate applications, and the reissuance of tax bills.
Further enhancements to the “Macau Tax” app are also underway. Rd
