MGM Clinched 30 APAC Human Resources Accolades in 2022

MGM won a total of 30 Asia-Pacific human resources awards in 2022, covering a broad spectrum of HR practices, including employee training and talent development, HR management, workplace culture, employer branding, etc. This array of accolades stands as a testament to the Company’s highly praised HR management and strategy.

Kenneth Feng, President, Chief Strategic & Financial Officer of MGM, said, “These awards are a great encouragement to the Company. MGM has always embraced innovative HR strategies to equip team members with up-to-date industry knowledge and skills, career advancement and a great working environment. We will continue to align with the Macao SAR government’s policies, stepping up efforts to offer diversified and professional training schemes and further uplift the capability of industry talents, in a bid to foster the high-quality development of Macao’s integrated tourism and leisure industry.” 

Nurturing Local Talents with Innovative Offerings

MGM has forged many award-winning flagship training programs. One among all is the Community Outreach eLearning Series Programs, jointly organized with MGTO and the Macau Deaf Association, was acclaimed as “Quality Training Course” in the “Construction of Quality Training Courses & Learning Projects of the Year” by Training Magazine of Xinghua Daily Media Group. Besides, MGM’s online learning platform eAcademy won “Best Digital HR Team” by HRTech China. MGM also attained “Employee Experience Awards 2022 – Best Learning and Development Program” awarded by Asia’s prestigious industry magazine Human Resources.

Creating Excellence in Corporate Culture

MGM has been applauded for its efforts in facilitating team communication and work environment. In 2022, the Company won Gold in “Best HR Communication Strategy” at the Employee Experience Awards 2022, and was named “The Best Workplace to Work” by the Committee of the Pudong International Talent Hub Forum. Other awards recognizing MGM for shaping a distinguished corporate culture include “Best Employer in Hospitality Industry” by VeryEast, “Best HR COE of the Year” by HRoot, and “Best HR Team of the Year” by HR Flag, and so on.

Attained Four Awards at the National

Human Resources Innovation Competition

In the second edition of the National Human Resources Innovation Competition, MGM won four accolades, including “HR as Strategic Business Partner of the Year”, “Talent Development of the Year”, “Corporate Culture of the Year” and “Chief HR Officer of the Year”, making MGM the most-awarded Macao entrant of the year. The Company also reached the Top 3 position among all nationwide entrants.
