The Public Security Police revealed that 418,228 people had crossed the borders of Macau yesterday by 9 p.m., with inbound visitors reaching 220,602 and outbound 197,626. The Border Gate checkpoint registered 139,007 entries and 126,012 departures.
The police once again imposed first-level crowd control measures at San Ma Lo (Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro) yesterday afternoon. They have also implemented measures in the vicinity of the Ruins of St Paul to separate vehicles and pedestrians. According to their estimation, the border crossing peak period will end tomorrow.
