The cultural magazine, Review of Culture (RC) – International Edition, has paid its tribute to Charles Boxer, following last year’s 110th anniversary of the revered figure’s birth. Regarded as one of the greatest historians when it comes to the Portuguese expansion, Boxer has left the city a great legacy in the form of a more than 300-book collection, along with various articles that were published in print before his death in 2000 at the age of 96. As part of this tribute, several authors have presented articles about the historian, creating a clear picture of his vast work and focusing on the key themes of his life, career and contributions. The magazine is published by the city’s Cultural Affairs Bureau and has been made available at various shops. It is also available at the Central Library, at the Historical Archive of Macau and at the libraries of local universities.
