The board of directors of Sands China Ltd. announced the resignation of its chief financial officer (CFO) and executive vice president, Mr Ben Toh Hup Hock. The resignation is to be effective from April 15 next year.
Mr Toh, who joined Sands China in 2007, served as Senior Vice President for Finance until late 2009, after which he was appointed CFO and executive vice president. In addition, Mr Toh was named executive director from June 30, 2010, a position from which he will also resign.
In a note disclosed to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange reviewed by the Times, Sands China relayed that Mr Ben Toh presented his resignation in order to pursue other business interests. “Mr Toh has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the board, and there are no matters that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the company in respect of his resignation,” the note reads.
