Starting on July 13, W Macau – Studio City presents “Sip Around Asia,” an exclusive event featuring an unprecedented line-up of mixologists. Bars Blind Tiger and Living Room will be transformed into vibrant hubs of mixology excellence, celebrating craftsmanship with exceptional cocktail menus.

The event includes a line-up of some of the best talents in the industry including Thirawat Kailaihong from ABar Rooftop, Bangkok and Jin from The Mix Lab, Seoul (Living Room, July 13), Gary Hu and Jerry Zhao from Dentree, Shanghai(Blind Tiger, July 13), Jihoon Kim from Malt + MixologySpace, Seoul (Living Room, July 14) and Christina Rassmussen from Fura, Singapore (Blind Tiger, July 14).

Each guest mixologist will craft two to four of the signature cocktails that have earned them accolades and admiration in the region. The limited and iconic cocktail menus created by these mixology masters will be available during their scheduled staging time.

Living Room will host a dynamic collaboration between The Mix Lab by Jin and Abar Rooftop by Thirawat Kailaihong. The Mix Lab, based in Seoul, is known for treating mixology as both an art and a science, creating precise and creative cocktails.

Jin, owner and mixologist will present drinks such as NO. 7 (Fake Coffee) with  Remy Martin V.S.O.P Cognac Fine Champagne, Scotch whisky, Fake Coffee (chicory root, cacao nibs, roasted barley), salted cream, and NO.8 (Green Sour) a blend of  The Botanist gin, Korean mint gin, green grape cordial (green grape, white wine vinegar, timut pepper, Xylitol sugar).

ABar Rooftop, located on the 38th floor of the Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, boasts one of the largest gin selections in Bangkok.

Thirawat Kailaihong, the mixologist, brings a cocktail concept of tropical charm-meets-rooftop refinement, designed to impress and refresh, just like a night out in Bangkok such as Come Dawn (B The Botanist gin, Bergamot liqueur, dried jasmine, watermelon tonic, CO2) and Hello Yellow! (Remy Martin V.S.O.P Cognac Fine Champagne white rum, sundried banana, mango juice, pineapple syrup, lime).

On July 14, Living Room will host Jihoon Kim from Malt + MixologySpace. Kim will bring his unique perspective to the bar with a cocktail concept of bold experimentation, cultural storytelling, and umami-forward creativity. Each cocktail showcases unexpected ingredients like masala, wasabi and clam soup.

Blind Tiger will feature Christina Rassmussen from FURA, a forward-thinking and sustainable bar in Singapore. FURA was ranked on Asia’s 50 Best Bars list in 2024, and received the prestigious Ketel One Sustainable Bar Award 2024.

Christina, a Danish-American chef and forager, is known for her innovative and boundary-pushing creations. Her menu for the evening includesNew New Yuck (N.I.P Exotic City gin, seaweed, shio kombu, guava, malic acid, lime leaf white chocolate coco foam), Still Woozy (N.I.P Catnip Tea gin No.2, Plantation Pineapple Rum, tonka bean, pineapple, cherry, dry vermouth),A Quail Walks Into a Martini  (N.I.P Catnip Tea Gin No.1, Osborne Sherry Fino, caramelized fennel, cultured Japanese quail) and Dirty Banana (Carlos Sherry Brandy Solera, FURA “coffee”, lacto banana cream, banana skin caramel).
