STATISTICS | Casino revenue down 2.5 percent in 2014

Total casino revenue in 2014 fell by 2.52 percent year-on-year to MOP352.7 billion, according to official data released yesterday by the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ). Another MOP1.2 billion in revenue has resulted from sports betting, betting on horse and dog racing, and lottery. Regarding betting in casinos, the game that generated the most revenue was baccarat VIP, with MOP212.5 billion. Revenue generated by baccarat played in mass tables amounted to MOP106.5 billion, growing 16.2 percent year-on-year.
