More than 2,000 households in the Three Lamps District were affected by an abrupt power outage on Monday. The blackout occurred at around half past seven in the evening as one of the middle-voltage cables in the area malfunctioned. The power supply resumed to the affected families four minutes after the initial blackout as CEM activated another system. The utility company apologized for the inconvenience caused. The incident hasn’t been the only outage of late. Last month, the central part of the territory suffered a massive nighttime blackout with around 4,800 households reportedly losing power.
