The Cultural Bureau will start a half-year program to collect information from citizens about intangible cultural relics, in order to expand its existing list.
Citizens are encouraged to submit related pictures or documents on the item they see as culturally valuable to the authority.
The bureau will conduct an analysis of the submission to see if it is eligible to be enlisted for further protection. So far, there are a total of ten items on the list, and these became official in March 2014.
