Trade between Brazil and China reached US$77.9 billion in 2014, down 6 percent from the previous year, according to the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade.
In 2014 Brazilian exports totaled US$40.6 billion and imports from China were USD37.3 billion.
In 2013, trade between the two countries reached a record – US$83.3 billion – but the 2014 result is higher than the results in 2012 and 2011, according to the released data.
In 2014 China remained Brazil’s main trading partner.
