In honor of the 20th anniversary of Macau’s return to China, Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace Cotai have designed this year’s mooncake gift boxes to feature a lotus flower motif.
“The lotus is a symbol of Macau and represents the everlasting prosperity of this booming city,” a statement from the company reads. On the side panels of the box there are hand- written Chinese calligraphy greetings for a ‘Happy Mid- Autumn Festival and Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Macau’s Return to China.’
Guests can visit Wing Lei restaurant at Wynn Macau or Sweets at Wynn Palace to purchase mooncakes or gift vouchers for this Mid-Autumn festival.
The mooncake gift vouchers are available for sale from now until Sept. 12, while the mooncake gift boxes are available for sale and redemption between Aug. 26 and Sept. 12.
