Over 10,000 private flats to be made available

In the fourth quarter of 2017, a total of four residential buildings within the private sector obtained the usage permit issued by the Land, Public Works and Transport Bureau (DSSOPT). These new buildings add 351 available flats to the residential market.

According to the data released yesterday by DSSOPT, there are currently 94 residential buildings under construction or already completed, but none of them have a usage permit. When the permits are obtained, more than 10,619 flats will be available. DSSOPT said that there are 200 more residential buildings currently planned and that these buildings will house 20,529 units. 

Regarding hotels, a total of 20 hotels are currently under construction, with 9,139 rooms. Twenty-seven hotels are currently planned, with a totally of 5,043 rooms. In 2017, a total of four hotels were completed, adding 1,265 hotel rooms for tourists.
