Arts | ‘Júlio Pomar and Friends’ at Tap Seac Gallery

3-renato-marques-6I0A3341The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) and Albergue SCM (ASCM) have jointly organized two exhibitions, showcasing works by the renowned Portuguese master Júlio Pomar. The official inauguration ceremony for one of the two exhibitions took place yesterday at the Tap Seac Gallery.
The ceremony was attended by the IC president, Ung Vai Meng, and the deputy director of the Liaison Office in the MSAR, Zhang Xiaoguang, among others.
The exhibition at the Tap Seac Gallery showcases different phases of Pomar’s artistic career with a total of thirty-one works by the artist and his contemporaries on display, including famous oil paintings and prints. The exhibition is intended to help the audience better understand Pomar’s work and life, as well as to appreciate his artistic world, feelings, and the unique vision behind each piece. This exhibition will be open to the public until October 29.
The second exhibition related to the Portuguese painter’s works will be inaugurated on September 18 (Friday) at 6.30 p.m. at the Albergue SCM. RM
