A local couple, who have celebrated their golden wedding anniversary and are looking forward to reaching 56 years of marriage, shared their love story with the public on the occasion of Valentine’s Day.
The husband, whose surname is Kong, and the wife, whose surname is Chang, have been companions as both work and life partners for 55 years.
Kong and Chang made a living by baking Chinese biscuits for 50 years. During those years, Kong made the biscuits and Chang was responsible for selling them.
Recalling their years of being together to TDM, Kong said that he and his wife are each other’s partners in both work and life. The two expressed that their biggest satisfaction comes from being each other’s company.
