The “Wynn Cup – Macau Primary School Student National Education Drawing Competition” was officially launched at Wynn Macau yesterday, sponsored by Wynn and organized by the National Conditions Education Association (Macau).
The program aims to strengthen the knowledge and understanding of national education among primary school students, nurture their national pride and enhance their drawing skills and capabilities in aesthetics.
In her keynote speech, Linda Chen, chief operating officer and executive director of Wynn Macau, said that Wynn has put a lot of emphasis on corporate social responsibility since it started its business in Macau.
According to a press release issued by the gaming operator, as the title sponsor, Wynn hopes that the program can enhance Macau primary school students’ knowledge of national conditions and promote exchange in the fields of culture, art and education between mainland China and Macau.
Mandarin Oriental welcomes chef Fei as special guest chef at Vida Rica restaurant
Mandarin Oriental, Macau is set to welcome Chef Fei of Jiang by Chef Fei at Mandarin Oriental, Guangzhou for a special culinary collaboration with the hotel’s Chinese Executive Chef Wong Tak Wing that will feature a series of exquisite Cantonese dishes from November 4 to 6, 2016.
Diners can explore Chef Fei’s signature dishes including deep fried roasted duck puff pastry with black and snow fungus, kungfu soup with matsutake mushroom, sautéed Australian sirloin with Szechuan pepper and chilli, as well as crispy roasted chicken with flaxseeds, featuring in a six-course lunch menu at MOP 568 per person or an eight-course dinner menu at MOP 888 per person. Both menus offer a choice of wine pairing.
Chef Fei began his cooking career at the age of 16 when he honed his culinary skill in a Chinese specialty restaurant, mastering all aspects of Cantonese cuisine. With an impeccable eye for detail, Chef Fei is well known on Guangzhou’s fine dining scene, where his innovative creations combining an intricate taste experience and artistic presentation have won him numerous awards, including the Chinese Culinary Skill Master Gold Medal and Chinese Celebrity Chef Five Star Medal. Following his achievements, Chef Fei has been regularly invited as guest chef to Mandarin Oriental properties such as in Hong Kong and Sanya, to showcase his Cantonese dishes with a contemporary twist.
