In a realm where art meets artificial intelligence, imagine the possibilities as you co-create and resonate with an “AI artist”, embracing this novel chapter in art. MGM joined hands with world renowned contemporary artist Cai Guo-Qiang, famous for explosive gunpowder artworks, to unveil the debut solo exhibition of cAI™, pronounced AI Cai, an AI model developed by the artist and his team. cAI™ is an artwork of Cai Guo-Qiang, also his partner for dialogue and collaboration.

Debuted in the Barra District, cAI™: Soul Scan exhibition is Cai Guo-Qiang’s important attempt to explore the development of art history in the age of AI. It features a collection of nearly 20 artworks of cAI™ inspired by Macau’s vibrant heritage, inviting the audience to explore the depths of culture, technology, and history. The journey begins with a self-introduction by cAI™, leading to a mesmerizing display of paintings created by “gunpowder painter cAI™”. Visitors are invited to participate in the creative process, co-creating fireworks with “fireworks master cAI™” through an interactive installation. Don’t miss the engaging experience with the special interactive installation powered by “diviner cAI™” and its robotic arms at the “cAI™ Divination Room” and take home a unique oracle as your collaborative artwork with cAI™.

Admission to the exhibition is free. Join us on a journey of discovery that expands the role of AI in the arts, creating dialogues between technology, tradition, and spirituality.
