Melco earns global recognition for corporate sustainability

Melco Resorts & Entertainment has earned global recognition for its sustainability efforts, being included in the prestigious S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2025.

The company was named an “Industry Mover” in the Casinos & Gaming sector, reflecting its outstanding performance in the S&P Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA).

To be listed, companies must score within the top 15% of their industry and meet rigorous sustainability standards.

In addition to this honor, Melco’s Studio City Phase 2 development has achieved the BREEAM New Construction “Excellent” rating.

This marks the first BREEAM-certified project in Macau, following its previous design-stage “Excellent” rating. The BREEAM certification underscores Melco’s commitment to incorporating high sustainability standards in its developments, fostering both environmental and social impact.

Lawrence Ho, chairman and CEO of Melco, expressed pride in the recognition, emphasizing the company’s dedication to sustainable practices across all operations.
