Melco Resorts & Entertainment and the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute co-organized the first “Macau Ideas” roadshow at Melco’s integrated resorts. The goal is to promote local small and medium-sized business that specialize in Made in Macau, Macau Brand and Macau Design products.
Recently, hosted at Melco’s properties – City of Dreams, Studio City and Altira Macau, the roadshow features 24 “Macau Ideas” vendors offering over 300 product types. It aims to help local SMEs promote their business and brands through an effective marketing and sales platform.
Representatives from Melco and IPIM spoke at the opening ceremony, saying the partnership successfully leverages both organizations’ resources to support local SME development. The roadshow forms part of Melco’s SME initiative launched in 2016, providing retail space to generate revenue through direct marketing to 16,000 employees. In 2023, the program helped 270 local SMEs and non-profits generate over MOP9 million in additional revenue.
