As part of the Melco “Simple Acts of Kindness 2.0” initiative, more than 200 volunteers dedicated time during May to almost 450 local children and older adults, who were neficiaries of Melco’s NGO community partners.
Different activities such as pastry-making workshops under the guidance of the Melco pastry team from Studio City, cotton towel-making workshops at the Heart-of-House area and dried flower workshops were featured.
Some Melco volunteers also joined the Pou Tai Elderly Choir to perform Mother’s-Day-themed golden classics during an event attended both by Pou Tai Integrated Service Center for the Elderly members and their families.
Melco volunteers also spent time with senior beneficiaries at older adult centers through singing performances and games to celebrate Mother’s Day.
