Participating in the upcoming “Macau International Dragon Boat Races 2023,” MGM held earlier in May at the Nam Van Lake Nautical Center its annual blessing ceremony for its Dragon Boat Team, which aims to extend best wishes to the Golden Lion Team.

The ceremony featured a series of traditional rituals such as offering incense, carving a suckling pig, eye-dotting the dragon boats and a cheerleading performance.

“Over the years, our Dragon Boat Team has achieved extraordinary results in the races,” the president and chief strategic & financial officer of MGM, Kenneth Feng, said. “Determined to excel in the race, the Team has been dedicating their spare time to months of intensive training,” he added.

The Golden Lion Team, composed of 58 MGM team members including at least 90% of local employees, will compete across four categories in six different teams.
