Poly MGM Museum to showcase ‘Silk Roads Beyond Borders’ exhibition

The Poly MGM Museum will open its latest exhibition, Silk Roads Beyond Borders, on October 1, marking the 12th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative.
The exhibition showcases the historical and cultural exchanges along the Silk Road, featuring over 200 artifacts from Eastern and Western civilizations across four thematic chapters: trade and travel, material culture, spiritual integration, and contemporary interpretations.
The display includes loans from international institutions, such as the National Museum of Damascus and the Hirayama Ikuo Silk Road Museum, alongside Chinese cultural treasures from the Palace Museum and Gansu Provincial Museum.
According to a statement from the gaming operator, visitors will encounter restored ancient musical instruments, replicated Dunhuang murals, and immersive night tours that combine live performance with digital interpretation.
The new exhibition aims to deepen cross-cultural dialogue, celebrate civilizational exchange, and reinforce the city’s role as a platform for global cultural engagement.
