South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has urged GBA investors to explore opportunities in South Africa, particularly in the green economy and electric vehicle sectors. During the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation Summit in Beijing, Ramaphosa praised Shenzhen’s technological advancements and expressed interest in collaboration, especially in renewable energy and EV industries, as cited by Xinhua. He highlighted regulatory changes in South Africa designed to attract substantial investment in electricity generation and emphasized potential partnerships with Shenzhen-based companies like BYD and CATL.
