Two men arrested for burglary

Police have arrested two men suspected of burglarizing a shop and stealing HKD48,000. One of the suspects, a former employee of the store, deceived a locksmith into believing he had lost the key, enabling him to unlock the door. The theft was reported last Saturday after the store manager discovered the lock had been cut open. Officers intercepted the two men, aged 29 and 33, and found HKD6,000 in their possession. The locksmith later confirmed he had been misled into assisting with the break-in.
