Ung Vai Meng highlights new VP’s abilities

The president of the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), Ung Vai Meng, has said that he has confidence in Chan Peng Fai’s ability to serve as IC’s vice-president.  Mr Chan, who until August 2014 served as the IC department head for Cultural and Creative Industries, has been appointed vice-president. He was previously serving as deputy vice-president. “He has vast experience in the creative industries field. He’s responsible for the committee [of the cultural industries established in 2011] and five years on we can see that Macau has developed in this area (…) I can say we are feeling quite reassured that he will be performing his tasks well,” Mr Ung told reporters.
