Opening tonight at 6:30 p.m., the exhibition will feature around 37 works by 26 artists from Angola, Brazil, Macau, Mozambique, Portugal, Singapore, and Timor-Leste.
According to a statement, the showcase highlights a mix of contemporary practices and perspectives, reflecting the gallery’s ongoing focus on cultural exchange and artistic dialogue.
“We are grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey. […] We are excited about what the future holds and eager to continue promoting art as a vital platform for expression and connection,” organizers said in a statement.
Participating artists include Abel Júpiter, Alexandre Frade Correia, Alice Costa (Lili), Alvaro Macieira, Ben Ieong, David Allen, Eric Fok, Fátima Pena, Filipa Pais Rodrigues and Nuno Calçada Bastos, among others.
The gallery was established in 2022 at the Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau Hotel, with aims to serve as a platform for both local and international artists, hosting exhibitions that engage with contemporary themes.
Organizers said the anniversary exhibition aims to reflect on the gallery’s development over the past four years while continuing to support emerging and established artists.
A series of related events and programs is also expected to accompany the exhibition.
