This Christmas and New Year, Barra District becomes a lively seasonal playground where culture, lifestyle and local creativity come together. Visitors can immerse themselves in Macau’s innovative spirit through everyday moments, from visual storytelling to comforting flavors and shared experiences.

At Navy Yard No. 1, Decade–Exhibition of Macao Illustrators marks the 10th anniversary of the Macau Illustrators Association, inviting visitors to explore a decade of creativity and the city’s thriving artistic scene.

A short distance away, the Festival of Wishing Star transforms Barra Pond into an immersive winter landscape, where more than 30 local IPs and SMEs present a variety of art installations, DIY activities, outdoor film shows and hands-on workshops to animate the neighborhood with festive cheer and artistic energy.

Upping the lifestyle quotient, Horizon Café at Navy Yard No. 2 offers a unique fusion of coffee, light dining, retail, and music in a charming vinyl record corner. Occasionally featuring exclusive IP collaborations and themed events, the café makes for a dynamic, multi-experience gathering spot.

Meanwhile, Barra Kitchen continues to serve up home-style flavors from seven of Macau’s most beloved eateries – perfect for warming up during the festive season.

Schedule:
Festive of Wishing Star: 2025/12/20 to 2026/01/04 (excluding 2025/12/23, 2025/12/30 and 2026/01/02)
Horizon Café: 2025/12/20 to 2026/02
Decade – Exhibition of Macao Illustrators: 2025/12/17 to 2026/01/11
Barra Kitchen: Ongoing
