CESL Asia launches 2025 youth drawing contest

In partnership with the Macau Youth Art Association, CESL Asia has launched this year’s kids’ drawing contest.
The 2025 rendition is themed “Future Urban Planners,” inviting children aged 8 to 14 to envision Macau’s sustainable urban future.
The contest encourages young participants to creatively design eco-friendly spaces, smart city technologies, and community-focused urban environments that harmonize innovation, nature, and people. Submissions are open from June 30 to August 1, 2025.
Antonio Trindade, president and CEO of CESL Asia, emphasized the contest’s role beyond art in a press release yesterday: “We hope to inspire children to think about sustainability from an early age and consider how better urban design and engineering can bring lasting benefits to society.” This initiative is part of the CESL Asia Social Investment Initiative (CSII), celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
The contest’s success is supported by a judging panel including IPOR, the Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center, Macau – Professional Services, Limited, and the University of Saint Joseph. Prize sponsorship comes from McDonald’s Macau. NS
