Chui Sai On will officially present his candidacy today for the Chief Executive Election. The CE chose appointed-lawmaker Vong Hin Fai to be his trustee again. Vong will submit Chui’s application form at the Public Administration Building. A press conference scheduled for the World Trade Center will follow.
Call for proposals for the 26th Macau Arts Festival
The 26th Macau Arts Festival (MAF) will take place in May next year. In order to promote the development of local arts, the IC invites all registered local associations and individual artists to present projects for shows until October 15. Selected works will be included in next year’s MAF program. The MAF has as main objectives the “dissemination of traditional Chinese culture, the introduction of prominent works from all over the world and the promotion of the development of local arts.” All local artists as well as local art associations are invited to present their proposals for consideration.
