Studio City Event Center’s (“SCEC”) inaugural season of acts kicked off Saturday night when ‘Asia’s King of Dance’, Aaron Kwok, returned to the concert stage at the newly opened Studio City. One of Hong Kong entertainment’s “Four Heavenly Kings”, Aaron Kwok has been a dominant force in the world of music and dance for more than 30 years. As an all-round entertainer, Kwok continued to push the choreographic envelope on the Hollywood-themed entertainment resort’s new stage.
“Our team has specially re-designed a whole new stage exclusively for Studio City as its first show. The extendable V-shaped stage enhanced the intimacy with my fans, making my Macau concert the most memorable one,” Kwok stated.
sands china participates in caritas charity bazaar for fifth year
For the fifth year in a row, the Sands China Care Ambassadors participated in the Caritas Macau Charity Bazaar over the weekend, helping raise funds for Caritas’ annual event.
At the bazaar’s opening ceremony Saturday, Sands China Ltd. President Wilfred Wong presented a cheque for MOP200,000 to Caritas Macau Secretary-General Paul Pun Chi Meng. The donation will be used by the non-profit charitable organization to support its operational expenses. Since 2004, Sands China has contributed over MOP3.3 million to Caritas Macau through charity dinners and bazaars. The funds help support Caritas Macau’s efforts to develop and implement social services in the community.
Around 100 Sands China Care Ambassadors were volunteering during the two-day charity bazaar at the Nam Van Lake Nautical Centre, where they manned three booths featuring games, a lucky draw, and an over 2-meter-tall figure from DreamWorks Animation’s “Madagascar” franchise.
