For the fourth consecutive year, MGM Macau held its inaugural “Community Care Campaign” last month, in which more than 250 volunteers participated in two-weeks worth of community services.
The resort outlined in a statement that its volunteers delivered services to more than 580 local citizens.
The campaign held different events such as visits to health centers to provide health consultations for seniors as well as visits to visually impaired residents.
All volunteers joined to help refurbish the walls of the dormitory hall and rooms of Jardins Dom Versiglia, with the aim to spread love and care to the young students at the school.
The campaign also collected more than 1,000 food and clothing items, that were later transferred to the Macau Salvation Army and Fuhong Society of Macau for sale, the proceeds of which would be put back into charity.
As part of the programme, a team of chefs and over 20 volunteers from MGM made snacks and desserts with about 50 students with special educational needs.
