Vodatel network expects turnaround for ‘14
Vodatel Networks Holdings Limited said it expects to record a profit for the year ended 31 December 2014, as compared to the loss reported in the previous year.
Such improvement was primarily attributable to: (i) the increase in value of sub-contract works performed, which included the design, supply, installation testing and commissioning and maintenance of certain surveillance systems at the Galaxy Resort & Casino; (ii) the undertaking of an increased number of projects for the government of Macau; (iii) the further penetration into the construction of data centers for regional telecommunications service providers; and (iv) higher profit generated by the disposal of available-for-sale financial assets at higher selling prices for 2014.
The annual results are expected to be published next month.
